in long term it is focused on passenger traffic, it has vision to have 3+ terminal along with 3 terminals of delhi igi. but in short term it may be cargo as public transport connectivity is negative. its literally 2 hours from igi. 90 kms from there, noida airport is not even in noida lol, leave aside the target audience of delhi and ncr. metro/rrts and bullet train are still atleast 7-8 years away. metro dpr is there, bullet train construction would start only after whole mahsr is ready and when it starts giving data. metro/rrts is minimum 5 years away, idk who will use this for domestic flight, for ex if you want to go from noida to mumbai, flight costs 3500-4000, but the taxi from delhi to jewar would cost half of it. here in mumbai i pay 1000 rs for taxi to airport which is nearly 30 kms.Noida Airport is focused on freights transport more than the passenger traffic. It can manage with the one terminal for some time.
i am praying that noida airport expansion plans and phases dont get cancelled due to initial low response. noida needs to expand towards jewar side and metro should be brought asap for this airport route, and not only airport to airport.
