Haldi, are you sure about that? Looks like a clusterfuck. And why would Titagarh need crrc? They could get incolved directly, no? Given their experience in Pune Metro and VB sleeper?

Ya'll CRRC India can bid for any contract and re contract it to the local Manufacturers I.e Titagarh, so they are sub Contractor to the NCC Bid's what they will provide is design, Technology, more like a middle agent. Pre or Post Galwans is pretty much the same as long as the parent firm don't participate directly.

A european city for example without any Grade-A offices, hotels or mall will still look more appealing due to general architecture of all other buildings, while cities in India will have big business parks, malls and all with rest of the buildings being ugly brick/concrete blocks making the entire urban area appear shitty, simply because much of the Indian population can't comprehend building aesthetics. Only Himalayan states seem to comprehend that.

And no, not even 0.1% of entire bangladesh is like that.

But, it's GDP per capita (as what their government claims) is around $700. Less than Bihar. But in reality, it's per capita electricity consumption is more than a dozen times less than India per capita, and a quarter of Bihar. Indicating that it is an extremely poor country with agriculture as main source of economic activity. Even in agriculture their output of various agro commodities is far lower than India per capita.

By the way these are much older numbers, our output volume has increased by a lot since these were published.

Now, this isn't supposed to shame them or mock them, but rather appreciate how they built better urban infra than much of India given their conditions. Although much of Congo's cities look pretty rural, that is expected due to very low population density and economic prosperity.
