It appears there's a major disagreement with Japan . However the E-10 has been reported as the trainset selected to run on the Mumbai Ahmedabad HSR line. Which report do we believe now ?

They will have to procure Japanese trainsets (part of the T&C of JICA's loans). The indigenous developments will happen in parallel. Journos have no idea what they are talking about.

Problem is none of them are materialising in the projected revised time frame of 2027-28 when we were to commence limited services on the said line.

The entire system is on Standard gauge and Japanese ETCS system. If we are building indigenous product for this system. Then we can simply build an broad gauge HSR.

Just get the Shinkansen bois.
