Around 20 additional test flights are planned for LRLACMs to fine-tune the missile's performance, which also includes terminal homing through an indigenous radio-frequency seeker.

According to sources, the Indian Navy is expected to order around 200 LRLACMs, worth approximately Rs 5,000 crore, once DRDO completes the missile's trials.

The LRLACM is a Defence Acquisition Council-approved, AoN-sanctioned Mission Mode project with a set timeline for entry into service.

IMO, IN won't put additional UVLM on the capital ships instead the present arrangement will share the and LRLACM together.

BrahMos is cold-launched and Nirbhay is hot-launch.
The current BrahMos UVLM can easily launch a Nirbhay...but for just once.

Each SSK is costing around $1 billion, and we lack the manufacturing efficiency that China, Korea, or Japan have in building them cost-effectively. Investing $1 billion per SSK doesn’t make financial sense when compared to the returns on a $3 billion SSN, which offers far greater value for the investment.

In the current scenario, I'll take 3 AIP SSK over 1 SSN any day of the week... twice in Sundays.
SSN don't offer anything major other then higher top-speeds (which render them loud & deaf for the time). Capability to sprint & do extra long ops would be helpful in sub at Pacific, but we're a green water Navy & so is our immediate naval capability requirement.

Indian Navy operated the Akula 1&2 SSNs for decades & never pushed for more. Even now they're only asking for 2... A reduced nuumber from the original 6. Option for special missions i suppose.

Let's say all of PN surface vessel, supplier ship, tankers, port facilities, Submarines are taken out. How much time and money will it take them to get back on their feet.

VL-SRSAM - most certainly.
Barak 8 - only if we go for bigger VLS cells like the Mk-57 system of USN. (It may come as a surprise, but Barak 8s actually have smaller diameter than ESSM but since the former has fins, it'll require more space but not by much).

Just two types of missiles; BrahMos and Kalibr family. Theoretically can also fire Zircon but that's a different saga in itself.

This whole idea of Russian named their VLS Universal so they can fire SAMs too seems to be either based on some early concept that never materialized or is just pure internet lore.

Currently there are only five active VLS that can be termed a true Universal VLS because they can fire everything from cruse missile to SAM to ABM are:
> Mk-41 (or Mk-57) - USA and almost all other ships
> Sylver - European Union
> K-VLS - South Korea
> GJB 5860-2006 - China
> MIDLAS - Turkish copy of Mk-41

This is what I have been saying as well. It is more practical to have two types of UVLS strike missiles AShM & AShBM... Other for smaller platform like various SAMs & BMD.

We'll be needing AShBM & BMD onboard our ships very soon. Have no doubt. Anti-sub Kamorta Class platform may be expanded to an Air-defence escort as well.

Essentially bankrupt the Pakistani Economy by having them replenish their fleet again.
Paki should get used to eating mud instead of grass to supports its fauj.

Bit much... You may be underestimating Chinese EW & AAMs. I have notice that in the test the used to cover the target with metal nets to enhance its RCS. Altho I am not sure how much they have tested the BrahMos against potential countermeasures and EW, we ourselves have tested SAMs to down sea-skimming supersonic targets... No reason to think they can't
