What's the point of making the CIWS stealthy, when the your ship isn't much stealthy to begin with.Is there a reason why we haven't changed AK630 chassis to a more stealthy design like cheenis?

I'd assume this doesn't bring much benefit so Navy/suppliers haven't bothered.
The 76mm OTO melara gun comes with stealth housing tho.

Yes; but first tell me where exactly are those AK-630s in the pic belowIs there a reason why we haven't changed AK630 chassis to a more stealthy design like cheenis?

Because it's pointless... Will make your ship 0.01% stealthier.

I've said multiple times before and will say it again...Kolkata Class is not a stealth ship, neither is Shivalik or Type-055 or Type-45 or Constellation. No matter how much media, defence expert or even the navy itself claim them to be "stealth" they're not.
In the whole naval history of mankind only a handful of vessels have managed to be stealthy.

...and that would be like 85% of all the stealth ships to have ever sailed.
And if your ship is not this level of stealthy then there's absolutely no rationale in spending resources to make smaller subsystems on it stealthy.
Thanks y'all nibbiars for answers, was reading earlier pages of this thread and there also was an argument there that our ships are not stealth or low observation and even if they are it's pointless because of formations and all
The Zumwalt has zero advantage in a combat zone. It's fishing boat signature won't be ignored in hot seas.Even Zumwalt has the signature comparable to a fishing-trawler... Not very helpful when you have a shitfucking powerful radar on top sweeping the ocean. Your radar will be detected even if your on comm. silence

Good sub didn't sustain damage to cause costly and time consuming repairs
Yup that is a good sign but the failure of sensors and proximity alarms(?) should be a cause of concern.
