This is not from the Kedar but fact remains, horses and mules cruelty is true on Kedarnath and Yamnotri treks. Just this year, saw a horse dead on the kedar trek and that too two days before the portals were opened. Saw multiple on return journey.

Last year, over 200 mules and horses died during the Char Dham Yatra. Only those who can walk the trails on their own should go.

Ya i know its not apple=apple, but some times a man gotta vent ...

while juice eliminate their neighbourhood scum like alpha males,

<facepalm>

These tourists are from USA. They go to different cities and they stay there for month, teach BJJ (Brazilian jiu-jitsu) at local gyms. They have travelled all over south-east asia. In India, they went to Bangalore, Mysore and now Gangtok.

According to them, Bangalore reminded them of other south-east asian cities, other than a few neighbourhoods which were a bit more intense and chaotic than the ASEAN cities (the flower market in Bangalore), Mysore reminded them of Chang Mai of 7-8 years ago (city in North Thailand where lt of expats live, now they said its a bit bigger than Mysore).

Then they went to Gangtok and their assessment is that it is cleaner and more organized than Vietnam, Phillipines and Cambodia.

Thankfully they haven't been to North India yet, but rest of the country should aim to be as clean as Sikkim.

Keeping city clean is not possible with this much population.
Even with pouring money on garbage management situation is still the same especially in metro city.
Only MP can be taken as example as they have managed the cleanliness in the cities even with Hugh population. In the rest of the cities with population the cleanliness situation is not getting better.

Kerala cities are clean, Mysore is pretty clean as well.

Indore for decade is bitch slapping everyone when it comes to cleanliness. My own city Chennai is still an waste dump yard shithole where one of them present in Marshland and others were basically creating air pollution. Could not able to clean two rivers for 4 decades now. But spending 2000+ crores every time. Corporations are cheating people when they are earning truck load of money from People.

Can Chennai fix the problem? Answer is YES.

Can they do it? No.

Kabir tere sansar mein koti koti log ,
Kuch MC toh kuch bohut hi MC !

Unfortunately this seems as true today as it was in the IG era. IMO this wasn't true in the Nehru & Shastri era. Which is the reason I suspect the West is not very happy with Modi.

Gobhi ji recently visited US to give clean chit for election interference, he didn't even meet his buddy Trump.

I see this as a new tool & an extension of the west's outreach into our internal affairs with who else but the higher judiciary's blessings. This method was first explored during the CAA or the Farmer's protests IIRC. Since they received a positive response then by our judiciary they've decided to press home their advantage.

Exactly, combined with another report in North east sattes where US is crying about fencing in Manipur. Untill India starts giving fck in strong words in the style of China and Israel , starts finger pointing at US in similar terms, this needling intereference and pressure is only going to increase. And knowing current politicos of all hues they ultimately capitulate to arm twisting anyway. See how we have swallowed nked interfernce of US in BD wothout even saying single word. I think semiconductors and silence are linked somehow here.

Gujarat: Illegal religious structures, including a mosque, a 500-year-old graveyard, and dargahs close to Somnath Temple demolished

36 JCBs, 70 tractors, 5 Hitachi machines, 10 dumpers and 1,400 policemen were deployed by the Gujarat administration as a part of the demolition operation, reported Desh Gujarat, a news organisation based out of Gujarat.
