BJP never was a formidable political force in Punjab. Voting for the BJP might look like a waste of votes for some. And then, it allied with the SAD, a soft-separatist, Jatt-Sikh dominated political party. Congress and Communist still look like better options than the BJP for the Hindu voters.

Govt ,BJP, Congress , politicians may ignore Hindus. But fire will reach there home as well.
Only solution is to give power to society to correct the Jihadi kaum.
