Does someone have some numbers and some details about States receiving revenue deficit grants, it is often said States that more industrial get these while States like UP and BH don't , does this compensate for the less taxes received by high contributing States like KR, MH , TN or KL

You can't argue. Because then states like Himachal, Uttarakhand, J&K, Arunachal and Sikkim will start asking for special tax reliefs for providing fresh water to 35 crore desis in plain. Jharkhand will ask for more tax relief for giving India coal reserves. Chattisgarh will say we need special grant for giving India steel.

As I mentioned earlier, we have to wait till Trump takes over office. Can't expect major decisions till then.
In 2nd term, BJP delivered 370 and Ram Mandir. Both came during Trump regime.
Of course, Covid hit later and that took away all the attention for the rest of the term.

Modi will surely deliver something major in the 3rd term. Hopefully WAQF. Will have to wait at least till Feb.
