Why do I get the feeling there's something more to it than meets the eye ? The BJP has 132 MLAs. The half way mark is 145. BJP doesn't need the SS to form the government. It can do so with the NCP . It can also bypass the NCP & engage with the Independents. It can even mend fences with the SS - UBT faction. Shinde knows all this . Why would he be so adamant ?

Somebody doesn't want Fadnavis as the CM & it clearly isn't Shinde.

That would confuse the heck out of me though. What interest do they have in him not running MH? Because if he's good he "challenges" Modi/Shah at the helm? Yogi I was under the impression was already building that coalition

Shinde meets AS & stakes claim for the CM's post on the grounds of continuity stating he can't be seen as Dy CM of Maharashtra. If AS put his down & said nothing doing reminding Shinde these were the same grounds on which the alliance with UBT was broken that'd be it .

However if AS says we'd look into it , that's another story altogether. He's supporting Shinde's claim without being obvious or overt about it . It also fits into the Modi Shah template of having light weights as state CMs. This doesn't mean Shinde gets to be the CM coz Shinde has now modified his stance into no Fadnavis as CM. The cat's out of the bag.

I thought you were a student of Jews & their craftiness . Yet you seem to severely underestimate hindoo ability for tact cunning & statecraft. What gives ?

I am least concerned about these chuchundars called as BJP and their Sanatani dals who are nothing more than bunch of greedy people. Ja kar dhokley shokley khao chai piyo gathbandhan banao etc .. inke bass ki nahi kuch aaj samajh lo. This Congress just needs to win once like Ghazni won once and finished Pirthivi raj. Yogi is the next shivaji.

All these seculars and Jihadis treat that act as if it's written in stone. It's just an act and acts can be repealed.

They are passive aggressive with PoWA. Unlike the previous governments, they don't defend the act in court. Heck, their attorneys do not even turn up at the hearings. When the govt stops defending their own act at a court the legal framework becomes toothless. Courts and petitioners alike are interpreting this silence as a tacit approval for their actions (it is also why so many court monitored surveys etc are getting conducted rn; such petitions would be rejected at the very first hearing as recently as a decade back).
