Indian Politics and Democracy

The AQI level of dilli even on its best sunny day is much higher than the total IQ of our politicians cutting across parties.

And, the fancy-dress-clown-who-should-not-be-named remains in power only because his opponent happens to be a non-serious politician.

We are a politically poor country too.
But what can be done about it?
Shifting factories, closing down coal power, making ev mandatory still won't bring the pollution down as the biggest polluters i.e, the tractorjeets will choose death over stopping stubble burning.
It makes more sense to shift the capital to MP or Orissa

I'd shift the capital to South-Eastern MP mainly due to the tractorjeets doing DILLI CHALO wherever they feel like.

Letting the Capital stay in Dilli was a big mistake, and our great leader Batman also doubled down on it by having the new Parliament building constructed

Delhi is the capital of Hindustan in which I'd include Paxtan , BD , East Central & Southern Afghanistan ( along the Kabul , Ghazni , Kandahar axes including Bamiyan & surrounding areas ) & all of North India. From that perspective Delhi is strategically located right at the centre & equidistant from the extremes of the Empire / Modern Nation State.

Peninsular India which includes most of Western & all of Southern India is a different country altogether known to the ancients as Dakshinapath aka Dakhan aka Deccan aka Dravidian lands though strictly speaking it's a linguistic term & even then includes territories which speak Indo Aryan.

That requires a different adminstrative HQ much like the Mughals had one in Lahore to cater to their empire in what's now Paxtan & Afghanistan & another in Dhaka to cater to the East & NE succeeded by Murshidabad.

We need one in Central India preferably near the ancient Avanti kingdom or in its capital city Ujjain & if not that somewhere in its vicinity & call it Mahishmati with a 100 mtr statue of Kartavirya Arjuna aka Sahasrabahu in honour of the Haihayas. 😁

This region is good. Very low population density, relatively moderate climate and away from political instability.

Vidisha is a better spot. It has a small river, its located around some low density land and is literally the 2nd capital of the magadh empire for its early period.
