if we ignore the rhetoric from fanboys, what RSS and their affiliates said and have been doing is trying to balance the scales that were leaning heavily in favour of the left both in India and abroad.

beyond that, they don't have the resources.

in every field, the common theme that is popping up is "too many chanakyas, too few chandra guptas", meaning too many grand theorists, too few people with necessary skills and resources to implement them on the ground.

They however can get the younger and most ideologically kattar chaddis among their number to join the armed forces as officers, crack UPSC and join IAS and IPS( aside from Pols, even IT'S RAW recruits from them ) and get their lawyers to somehow ascend the ladders of Judgedom all the way to SC.

I'm sure they already do this.

At its heart the RSS is a profoundly anti intellectual organization which is a paradox given all their sarsanghchalaks & top brass are highly qualified professionals in the western systems of education. Yet how much has that sense informed their world vision ?

Ezsasa came up with a very good example of Chanakya & Chandragupt Maurya in a post sometime back. He stated we've too many Chanakyas & not enough Chandragupt Mauryas. I'd go one step further to state you can't have one without the other. RN in the RSS you probably have the latter .

What you most certainly don't have is the former. And that's been true since the very inception of the RSS. It's telling if the core ideology of the RSS stems from an outsider's pen , who actually despised the RSS for reasons that we needn't get into here . That should tell you all you need know about the RSS.

I think JSD (or someone) has said, he is a very shrewd politician and is playing the long game very well for his agenda.
He stays secular in these kind of podcasts, or in his English/hindi speeches. Posibbly makes deals with BJP in exchange for not targeting him.

But his Urdu speeches and rallies are a completely different story and are borderline radical.
His base knows this very well and are undeterred by these ‘secular’ acts.

He stays secular in these kind of podcasts, or in his English/hindi speeches. Posibbly makes deals with BJP in exchange for not targeting him.

But his Urdu speeches and rallies are a completely different story and are borderline radical.
His base knows this very well and are undeterred by these ‘secular’ acts.

That's been the MO of Islamists like the Deobandis in India since British times. As recently as a few years ago Arif Mohammad Khan pointed this out in an interview with Arfa Khannum Sherwani when he cited the huge difference in the translations of their books in English translation as opposed to the original Urdu or Persian or Arabic.

Our Marxist historians have only taken a leaf out of their books when they either claim those tales of destruction loot rapine pillage & massacres in history as recorded by Muslim sources where many a times these narratives are either in the form of biographies or court history as recorded by such historians as exaggerations or they refuse to consider them at all .
