Unnecessary attention was given to Turks and Turco-mongol imported rulers from Delhi in NCERT books.
Medieval period according to NCERT histroy books in my time was basically "green rule"

There are a lot of NRIs on the forum and they can speak to this more. One of the main thing in the West is the relatively better rule of the law, in India it is mostly rule by law. The LE is good and the judicial process is quick. I guess you get a better value on your taxes.
