Ramjet Artillery is more difficult to develop due to size.Wonder how does this reflect on the DRDO scientists? More so I hope Lt Gen P. Ravishankar goes into hiding for he deserves a hiding for the 155 mm RAMJET shell he's been the project head of at IIT-M whose status as of now is unknown , after he got a hiding online, cutting a sorry figure in the bargain, for the defence he attempted to mount on behalf of the IA justifying their decision to go in for the ALTGS instead of the ATAGS purportedly due to weight issues.

Let's leave Akash out of the picture for obvious reasons but isn't the SFDR of DRDO also being developed with Russian assistance?DRDO ramjets can be seen in SFDR , AKASH MK1(though its inspired from Russian Missile ), and in dvelopment STAR missile. What kids dveloped and demonstrated - DRDO elders demoed more than 2 decades back. Right now kids have to have mature and elongate burn time.
But uts really good to see quality of IIT research improving.

Yes like many ramjet missiles of world ( except France and their meteor) But what I agree is they should have localizedBesides it's yet to be operationalised. It's still under testing with the Astra - III after being in development since 2013.
Its remarkable. See ignition timeEither this part of the news isn't true which we know isn't the case or there's something fishy with what those kids achieved or at least claim to , for if that isn't the case then what they've achieved is more than remarkable.
why has K77 m not seen light of the day then? Its co dvelopment.

Frankly not that well versed with the intricacies of missiles or even supersonic missiles to notice those details. Just going by press reports taking what they put out at face value. Its remarkable. See ignition time
How long they were able to sustain. From short burst it seems its an academic project. Judging from size seems like effect of backflow from DRDO IIT collab over Ramjet projects.
No they do mention it's collaboration with NCCRD, IIT Madras. see their tweetI thought the K-77 is either under testing or was deployed aboard the Su-57 . I'm not keeping track of Russian missiles as such.

But even if the ignition timing was short as you put it , do consider the time it took them to reach where they did & the resources at their command whether manpower or finances.
Reports don't say anything about a collaboration with any party if that's what you mean.
