Indian Small Arms and Weapons

All soldiers are not equipped with it yet.
No to mention the camo of those helmets is the older camo which is being phased out.
How do these helmets compare against modern ones in terms of protection? Just because these are an old design, can these be considered ineffective against modern firearms? The reason why I ask this is, an army that conducts strict scrutiny for everything, will it simply procure these kinds of helmets if they are ineffective?

They can't stop shit, neither fragments nor 9mm pistol rounds

This how they are made or put in a new skin.

and not to mention they don't even use the bolt catch releases. they manually cock the rifles with every reload.
They are all used to racking AKs.

Is this company getting any orders? Are they aiming for Exports? Because what I see is the jokers won't order these and if they want to they gonna settle for some shitty OFB Pistol. Not even counting Screwdrivergiri Haramkhors doing Screwdrivergiri of Foreign Pistols.

I wonder how they got that level of quality in manufacturing?
Pistols are not the only thing they make, their make products are anti drone system

South Korean M9 bayonet with M-LOK adapter used on the Sig 716i in service with the Indian Army.

Since several state police and CAPFs' are placing piecemeal orders like JVPC, Asmi etc; that'd be a good start for SWAT/CI-CT units of state police like Mumbai Force-1/Delhi-SWAT, Naxal commandos like Andhra Greyhounds, CRPF QAT, CISF etc

They can also go the Canik route to sell civilian variants in the US along with military exports

Thanks to Call of Duty, the JVPC/MSMC would sell like hotcakes if they rolled it out for civilians via a US based reseller.
H&K wont bring a civilian MP7 no matter how much they beg. So right now its just the PSA XM7 that is available in that range.

Did this come out? It was a concept gun but haven't heard much about it lately. I believe it's scheduled to release some time next year though

Eitherway, PSA might be decent for the price when it comes to beginners but if you're someone going to the range at least once a month, they end up being duds after 7k rounds and you'd be replacing several parts.

As for JVPC, the current build quality and exterior finish is not something gun enthusiasts would be ok with given what we see here. It'd be a good idea to have Astr Defense machine since their handgun line-up looks impressive

would'nt it been a better cheaper option if we would just mass manufactured old AKs and instead of buying these sigs could have gone for sights and optics ?? at least our normal infantry would have looked like NATO force of 2000s era now??

sights and optics to me is just like cheat codes in games , why are we shying away from it??

2025 release date. They just confirmed the release of the 11" 5.56 SABRE.

Agreed. hence presuming some American firms goes for a JV, they can have accessories going along with it. Trust me, give them the news that a civ version is being introduced, then watch numerous companies begging to get their designed accesories on it. Fuck it, ask magpul and watch them do their magic and then offer it as a bundle!

Edit : Just read this, "So right now its just the PSA XM7 that is available in that range." Not expected from you @VictorDelta4
How can you miss Ruger's LC Charger!?

AK-203s' are costing us ~$1000/rifle with local manufacturing in Amethi which is around the same unit price we procured the Sigs for

The problem lies in lack of understanding the benefits a rifle or helmet mounted optic offers which stems from the lack of training, awareness and inability to perceive/update how the modern battlefield is evolving

And how exactly are you going to penetrate the soft body armour of the ATF agents with that when then raid your house for mounting a 40mm UBGL on a SIG Sauer pistol!?

Wimpy little pathetic cartridge 😏
Mate I wish I had that wimpy little pathetic cartridge..

no not talking about recent AKs like 203 , just decades old AKs with just better bought optics instead of sigs.

plenty of pics of both russia ukraine soldiers with Ak-74 , akm , 47 , ak-12

Might as well use the AKs' captured from terrorists in that case and the Paras would be lucky enough to use the M4s'

I also don't think anyone would want to go with an age-old rifle with wooden furniture on it and even if we did, our UN generals will find a way to screw it up and bump up the price. Oth, this isn't really about the money but more about education, awareness and willingness. If IA gives SSS a chance, I'm sure they can offer their P72 or M72 rifles for <~$700 a piece for volume orders
