Just having all these will not make them better if they can’t shoot straight also I don’t it’s paki gear.

SSG's std issue is the same as Para SF tbh. They also use Stryr Aug (bullpup) - we have Tavor. Same M4 block 1s. Kuch high cut helmets. Rest AKs. Same calibre snipers. Local PCs. Monoculars too.

Same hai bhai. Waha bhi ssg leke boht hype hai, har serial ya movie meh ek character ghusa denge. Equipment almost same. Cringeness somewhat same - if you see the latest tiktokias from para. Paras are more hardened and battle proven though.

Mai toh kehta hu, para ke 3 battalion lo; 9, 10 & 21 (one from every terrain) aur 400 crore kharcho unpe; naye rifles, nvds, uniform camo do, 3-4 ex SAS, Delta, Greenberets ko leke aao aur CI/CT se hatado.

4-5 saal meh pure South east Asia meh kisiki bhi gand fad degi.

Use that template as a model to modernise the rest.

They have more M4A1s, most units have M4s as standard issued. thanks to US aid.
They have different types of sniper rifles, but ours use better ammo, their sniper rifle is better than ours.
Their sniper school is far better than ours.

The sniper part is not really true for top units of Paras at least . Sure they can improve but the way they are improving give them a few years and they will be sweeet .

Bhai old forum sab kuch discuss Kiya tha per operator 25 lakh bnta hai
6 battalion chaiye 2 per terrain moutain, desert and northeast and 1 para SF for urban ops

Agree.. we have better night sights, but pakis have better day sights.
PAKIS too have good sniper scopes.
And sniper training is very complicated one, for their training there is requirment of good sniper school with good facility, something which indian army is far behind.
Indian Army's Fieldcraft (including snipers) are not world class, some sniper looks like joke who can easily be identified from far away.
Pakis recently started a sniper school with world class facilities.
Indian army is sleeping when it comes to sniper schools and training.

If you are a countries tier 1 unit and still can't shoot properly then it does raises alot of questions even for common infantry but we are talking about supposed to be ssg most equiped unit

as he got older, his kit became lighter

True but i doubt about the day sights
Even now they are using the standard issued AI telescopic sights on their AWM . We use better steiner optics ( one of the best) , but our galatz and nimrod sights are outdated .
