True but i doubt about the day sights
Even now they are using the standard issued AI telescopic sights on their AWM . We use better steiner optics ( one of the best) , but our gakatz and nimrod sights are outdated .

Can you provide a link/resource where I can see their latest purchases/armoury?

Few of our chaps use terrible stance or shoot incorrectly but we can't judge that entire para unit or battalion doesn't know how to shoot

They have mixed gear just PARA some have extremely good some extremely shit nothing standard

their gear polarization is even horrific than ours .
Some top units use SBR AR15 while some use legit chrome plated under folded AK-56 without any mods or anything .

as he got older, his kit became lighter

Actually only the army SSG gets shit ton of budget the navy one doesn’t in most of the exercises aswell SSG participates as they have the best gear.

Have seen 6 para use Acogs on sig716 else either use nothing or RDS


As per me , for our use case : LPVOs<ACOGs

they understand the importance of looking cool while doing photoshoots , something we seriously lack

Also I don’t think Paras use SIG716 that much they love their Galils for DMR role
