Ex-SOF from Western Countries are under legal bindings as not to reveal the very cream of their tactics.

What the Chinese guy learnt is just guntuber stuff.

If they can recruit ex Fighter pilots (who have good chances of getting employment in Civil Airlines) to train them , I am pretty sure they can easily recruit some disgruntled unemployed ex-SF vets through mercenary channels , Pay them good and they will even teach everything.

Also they can get all training manuals , slides and training documents pretty easily , after all they were able to reverse engineer almost every defense platform from stolen docs .

If you can hack and get classified documents on Drones and Jets getting sof manuals isn't hard pair them with SOF hired through mercenary channels who are looking to make a bank you have a great training regime on your hands that's what happens when you realise you have shortcomings and you have challenges to overcome and wanna improve something we can never think about the days of "Ustaad knows everything and will teach everything" are long gone now.

They planned it very well sent a soldier as student to train with EX-US SOF and then he came back to train PLA SOF

That's huge part of the reason that when you see former SOF guys advertising classes now there is a prominent disclaimer on them "US LEO/MIL & vetted NATO/Allied only".

in ear and over the head have their own purposes and mission sets. Maybe they chose it based on mission set and/or have both in ear and over the head in their arsenal.
