Do we have any indian companies making comtacs? This is less expensive than the Silynx ones 9 got. Hence proved - either they dont look around for options as such or really want just the in ear ones.

in ear and over the head have their own purposes and mission sets. Maybe they chose it based on mission set and/or have both in ear and over the head in their arsenal. This is less expensive than the Silynx ones 9 got. Agreed. But given 9 more often than not operates in mountains/jungles - makes perfect sense.in ear and over the head have their own purposes and mission sets. Maybe they chose it based on mission set and/or have both in ear and over the head in their arsenal.
Eat glassJeez this ex soviet style training has gone so stale. Do they plan on never developing?
I completely agree with the latter half of the statement - The officer cadre of the Indian army used to come from well educated, well heeled, at least proper middle class families, with long lineages. Now, it probably comes from the lower strata of society. This is not a bad thing, but how many graduates of elite schools and universities even competing for selection to the academies ??Eat glass
Do these antique drills
Do gorilla chest thumping on youtube
.....
Low iq future NDA prospects who are gonna fail in interview be like...aaaaaaahhh mmmm cummiin..they will make me a MAN.
If army wants well educated officers, they should raise the age bar and directly recruit from top public universities.I completely agree with the latter half of the statement - The officer cadre of the Indian army used to come from well educated, well heeled, at least proper middle class families, with long lineages. Just look at any ex NDA (specially army), still young in service, he won't be able to speak 2 proper sentences, he'll try to speak with an accent with a fouji tongue, but will fail miserably. OTA alumni are much more eloquent, and well read.. having come from the civvy street.
Army should urgently look at improving the quality of officer intake, get some well read intellectually inclined people from best schools into NDA, not focus on Sainik school types, whose world view is limited.
Just see what a clown sahani made out of himself in the recent podcast.. although, neither he nor most of his followers will realize this. No depth beyond the very tactical level platoon ops.
The problem with the probationers today and the officers and men is that..I completely agree with the latter half of the statement - The officer cadre of the Indian army used to come from well educated, well heeled, at least proper middle class families, with long lineages. But any US civilian, particularly if they're a US permanent resident or citizen can avail these courses as long as they're able to afford it since these classes tend to get pretty expensive like $300-400/class even for the basicsThat's huge part of the reason that when you see former SOF guys advertising classes now there is a prominent disclaimer on them "US LEO/MIL & vetted NATO/Allied only".
