Indian Special Forces

I haven't seen the footage yet but are MARCOS leading the op or just embedded with Paras/RR!
So MARCOS are deployed in small numbers, sometimes Para guys operate in Kashmir as big as a team of 20 or 36 also...like the Op where Ln Nk Mohan Nath Goswami got killed, there were 36 operators from 9.

MARCOS already deploy in numbers less than that, and deploy in prahars or half prahars (8-4 guys) sometimes, according to their own citations I have read for shaurya chakra awardees they might need 2 prahars that will make it 16 people

Usually they are always embedded with another force, the British SBS operates in similar manner, sending 4-8-16 guys from SBS embedded with SFSG and/or conventional forces like Gurkhas or Marines. Like in Operation Ilois

@Noob iss baar Vajra Pahar meh accha kit dikhega? Garuda shakti meh toh dikha thoda - low hopes cause I found no Lowa Zepphyrs/similar tac boots to start with:(
If the contingent is highly diverse then might see the usual photo op gear but how they operate with it might look different for each member. The quality of kits and how these units have adapted themselves to it is too different to expect uniformity
(Correct me if incorrect, I am no expert just following updates on procurement and usage)

*3 PARA room intervention nightmare*

Hard to tell with mixed contingent and what's been taken their but at this level expect atleast the basic stuff like HCBH and decent PCs should be their atleast and if Uncle sam wants it we might see some sexy drills

Yup a diverse mashed up crew could be a problem, if the training style of all the team members is not on the same page we will again see the confusion we saw in vara praha 2018 in rajasthan

Marcos in next 4 years will show the entire Indian Army what a decent kit is in Kashmir.

Mark my words..Mark this post.

They have inducted a lot of shit and they are training..they will soon bring the game.
Knew it and said it before myself while I was given the excuse of Marcos operate the same gear in Kashmir lol told Marcos always brings the heat 🔥 other units will follow soon hopefully

@Airborne22 we got Indian SF with Civilian clothes drip that we discussed few months back lol

I always look at these scenarios as a test for their skills to actually notice and adapt

Even if our outrage didn't reach them in 2018, they are SF guys they are enough to notice their own shortcomings so if they didn't take time to 'PROPERLY' train this mixed contingent together to the equipment sent along and the group's diversity (not the usual FORMALITY training sessions of contingents before Exs) then I have lost all hope with the Army SF's ability to adapt and improve itself

Update: Lost NNN

In the video the guy on the right was using his PTT to talk to his team while the others were shouting at the top of their voices. Goes to show that MARCOS has developed and definitely know what they are doing and which level they want to achieve.

But are MARCOS allowed to participate in the firefight though! If Paras are in the mix, I've noticed RR and SOG typically form the outer cordon

In the recent encounter where NSG were involved, it seemed like they were part of the bomb diffusion/disposal team and maybe forensics but not directly engaging with the hostiles
