Marcos are not in Jammu but kashmir.
Spinning up from a Naval base or a Ship is a bit different than going for an op from a FOB (which essentially what every single base/post in Kashmir is)
We used to dream of pictures like this in 2000s. Someone in their Value Chain has their head screwed on correctly

again that has been called MARCOS by a former wikipedia article where this photo was there, but it is not. That's the VBSS team itself, in 2007 during some joint exercise I belive. From what I've heard, MARCOS stopped using sterlings after the mid 1990s, approximatley the same time they phased out crossbows

Depends on what you guys consider to be "tacticool" I noticed that some of these guys are wearing plate carriers that they got in 2008 while the kashmir valley guys using newer stuff. They just don't stay in uniform combat fatigues in kashmir

They look more coherent in their uniform, the ones Kashmir do no have inferior gear than them but civilian clothing takes away the coherent feeling.
