2) It can be made in India by PLR systems.

Have been hearing a lot about this "Arad" rifle, two of the users above have it in their username also

So is this new rifle going to be used to replace Tavors among special forces?
Or is it yet another rifle for the infantry like the Sig and AK203?

Le me explain here:-

Their are two ways through which Arad can see induction in good numbers:-

1. It gets inducted under the 415K carbine tender, these will reach SF first as usual.

2. SF procures it directly(high chances) and replace the older M4s and Tar-21(I)s with it.

Tar 21 flattops are for newer SF battalions + replacing older gen tar 21s without P rails

Arad (if it comes) will replace the small section of M4s in top units (first).

So if SF procures directly, expect a small consignment.

And if Carbine deal happens, then sizable cache possible.

Big picture: Tar 21 FT (std issue) + handful Arads (operator's choice)

@Arad Operator will Pika still remain the std GPMG as will be the rest of their armoury?

HK-416s & Scar-L/Hs highly unlikely, Arad or Carmels most likely as both are being produced in India and many units have evaluated em. Same for Masada and Stery L9A1!
