I think paras should be made something like the rangers collectively all the sf/airborne units as you said and a separate SF Team like the Delta should be made that’s consists the best of best from the para sf with the strength of around 2500-3000.

Not a new Idea this was what it was meant to be to have A CAG unit as Army's sf and Para as 2nd tier but Time and politics don't allow some things to flourish

I don't want a glorious battalion like 9th to end this pathetically. The kind of shit they have done is just too much to label them just rangers.. what would be better imo is to re raise 9th battalion as proper SF this time.. we don't need delta because our foreign policy doesn't require delta (I don't mind if brass is ready to empty their wallets) just make them proper SF with a proper mandate (not CI/CT fodder)

The Glorious 9 and their Brothers aren't going anywhere in 2 years or even now 9 gear is on Par with Marcos, just wait for theaterization/restructuring so we know what actually are Army's plan and what's cooking.

You need to understand the difference here-
When the delta force or seals conduct a mission it’s a FOREIGN TERRITORY they have AIR SUPPORT,INT SUPPORT and a constant Monitoring when ever they are in a bit of struggle they blow everything up I will explain this with one example
THE TONGO TONGO AMBUSH
Deltas got surrounded NO AIR/GROUND SUPPORT and what was the results they were executed from point blank and the videos were released if you want to compare deltas with paras first of all the comparison doesn’t make sense because the mission they conduct is on enemy territory and they don’t give a fuck about collateral damage we are fighting in our own territory like it or not surrounded by our own people you can’t carpet bomb the entire area.

TONGO TONGO was an ODA from 3rd SFG. Wasn't Delta.

pvs 31 with clip on ecoti will be around 18 to 20k usd but the overlay is on one eye only , also it is heavy and cumbersome as fuck .

In tongo tongo, It was just 5 green berets not Delta against 40+ rebels and they killed 21 before going down. Your pathetic airforce isn't in the condition of foreign deployments. They couldn't even defend their own territory in 2019 and got caught with their pants down.
