Btw some days back some one was saying NSG was removed from Close protection duties .Thats not true.SRG is the ones still protecting Defence minister .Cant say about others though.

SAG is the real CT/HR unit in NSG
SRG is like for close protection and also did some CI ops in Kashmir

A gucchi DMR with a costly LMT stock
556 SBR AR15s with Magpul Carbine stock (same stock used with Sigs)

AFAIK till 1980s we had quite good no of snipers with Lee Enfield .303 No 4 Mark 1(T) attached to units .



1990, the old sniper rifle was replaced by the Dragunov SVD-63

I dont understand how this works as i have never held such positions in life.

Do they all sit and have Tea Samosa and say…Our troops are getting killed…

And they look ill equipped like an African Army

But lets do one thing…
