10 para has three COAS unit citations to it credit.

Lower in comparison to others 4 9 1 and even 3 View attachment 5121

it’s an average record.

Actually i say below average-

The COAS unit citations were given during the weaker parts of insurgency.

Meanwhile 3 Para is arguably responsible for wiping out NSCN-IM in northeast.

2 Para has 120 kills in 6 years in kashmir during early 2000s and did Op Kukhri

9 para been in kashmir since 95 crossing the LoC.

Dude had an awesome career in 9 para and SG too. People got a wrong image of him due to his first podcast and keep bashing him as some nalayak afsar due to the same all while ignoring his newer podcasts in which he answered in a more matured public tone.

It’s because indians no offense have a limited understanding of the english language.

Major Jacob sir was only talking about mindset and mentality, which all operators even in western countries hold. They know that in the end, if technology fails, it’s the man that matters the most.

He’s probably realistic on para capabilities and the true use of it in Kashmir.

He’s a bit too overhyping of his unit though. 9 para was legendary but it wasn’t the only battalion to be feared in the valley.

Also people taking his bisleri comment too seriously. It’s a joke. I’m pretty sure most para sf operatives drink from bisleri to reduce chances of water poisoning.
