But only SG & SPG have 100s of operational pieces though (old gen scars). Rest all have very low double digit no.s

Yeah but the domains of SFF(SG) and SPG is such that they selected FN Scar-L/Hs to fulfill their requirements. PARA SF, GARUDs and even MARCOs now have Sig-716i as an alternate option for Scar-H.
