Idk if this photo has been posted here yet. But it's supposed to be from the exercise. The M4 is obviously not ours, but you can see the plate carriers(Armasen ones I believe) and helmets our guys took with them. The chest rig and helmet might have been American as well from the previous pic.
Oh okay, my bad. It's the same helmet. The camos look very different at first glance.american helmet with indian camouflage ?
So just like most IA systems always more than a decade late. The process of procuring was finalized in the final year of previous decade itself then came covid
Even earlier! These headsets were used by Delta and SEAL Team 6 during early GWOT. By the time the 2010s rolled around, US SOF was already on Quad NODs, and the average marine was wearing these headsets. So just like most IA systems always more than a decade late.
this specific comm system is early 2010s GWOT
Yeah they always get it first and then rolls out to the rest. Early 2010s in when the general rollout began. These headsets were used by Delta and SEAL Team 6 during early GWOT. By the time the 2010s rolled around, US SOF was already on Quad NODs, and the average marine was wearing these headsets
Yeah. And the tip of our spear is 10 years late to even the general rollout.Yeah they always get it first and then rolls out to the rest. Early 2010s in when the general rollout began.
With potentially ARAD coming in, atleast the old Block I SOPMOD M4s will be rested. Hell even if they get a URGI upgrade, even that's a decade late!Yeah. And the tip of our spear is 10 years late to even the general rollout.
Yep. And the theme continues.....With potentially ARAD coming in, atleast the old Block I SOPMOD M4s will be rested. Hell even if they get a URGI upgrade, even that's a decade late!
