Indian Special Forces

Equipments and gear make a Tear 1 operative….His words not mimine.
Kinda right, no matter how trained you are if your enemy has nvg and you don't you are at a massive disadvantage and vice versa.
And not only equipment and gear, the intelligence and support access to SF units is also very important, america dominates in this domain, even British SAS depends on american support and intelligence in their missions.

Is it not interesting that the Jai Ho gang always mouths about the India's vishwaguru status and that everything we do is right and there must be a reason for it all and civies are too dumb to understand it, but they in their very essence fail to learn the actuall lessons of epics like Ramayana and Mahabharta that were - logistics matter (even for an army of monkeys lead by a god) and that equipment matters (even for a world class archer like Arjuna)

In a country that celebrates it's epics by calling them out for having advanced technology ( I dont care I am an atheist but just saying ) we ourselves fail to recognize the lack of proper logistics and equipment we need to support our forces with. It's a shame actually

A tier 1 opertative should have the best intel, vehicle assets, equipment, weapons and support platforms because there is no point training too hard to be the best at your job when the system you are relying on fails.

If we start taking these assets seriously then maybe we can save ourselves a lot of excuses - like the Army could have done this, done that....just the equipment failed, the vehicle got late, things were mogged up, the grenade did'nt explode. Well then god damn fix these things!

But no....low IQ folks ke liye sab changa si

Or they can see their fall in

Why did Rajputs fail despite being the bravest of the brave?

Why could Mughals rule India and win wars..

Why could we never stop the enemy entering Indian plains?

We always had a massive Army including of horses and elephants but never the small things that mattered which is even true for now..we have all kinds of tanks but not what is required and i am happy Ukraine war is showing us that.

You know our strength was - very much like the British in our infantry. It was because of this reason that during the Guptas good scale armour, steel and metallurgy, the recurve bow and all emerged.

Other dynasties didn't take these things seriously. The importance of horse in the showing of class during medivial India led more of these horses to be bred while India was never a suitable place for horses, just copying the turks and huns without putting much thought into practicality is the same mistake we are doing today.

Copying things from the west wothout understanding the why and looking like a bunch of airsofters.

It's high time we learn to play by our strengths not our weaknesses. If population was always a strength, that too not only quanity but quality as well - men being brave, loyal and hardworking then the same amount of quality needs to be put into the machine supporting them at the individual level also.

No point of bringing more armoured carriers if your basic rifle system for the soldier is incomplete, if his personal set-up is lagged down, if the training you impart on him is outdated but the josh is high then you make him a cannon fodder
