The environment was suited for such an operation, but to pull it off that smoothly you do need a properly quared off SOF. Israelis utilised their SOF properly, unlike us sadly

Well while your overarching point is noted and agreed with - Just wanted to point out we do have the capability as demonstrated above to launch an op on our border. A couple of units I can think off + Army Aviation + AF Top Cover and ELINT/EW Capability.

While the Sum of the Parts dont equal a Potent Whole. Not all of the parts are useless.

Oh no we can still do ops like this with some of our units, it's just that SF needs a whole lot more of investment, and it's not an impossible feat, but there are too many minds at the top that are blinded and making some of them turn a bit blunt using them as they are right now.

Sorry if I came off aggressive, I've been blackpilled to the extent that the only hope I have for sf (army mainly) is when we get our asses handed over to us

That wasn't my point. My point was that this is an AF unit. Both ground branch and support branch working together in a real time op.
Compared to that our CI ops end up either being a turf war or a mismanaged show.
