This GL-40 version is lighter than the m203 which they used prior on their G-tar's.
Only the lead scout of any squad carries this, to immediately counter any ambush or contact

Also this GL-40 in Para sf's inventory comes with a m4 like stock to fire it individually

Much better than m203 in terms of recoil, stability and looks

Tbh, for operations in thick jungles (Like in J&K at night) you need thermal clip ons to your NODs like this one

na, I have heard it from enough guys that our boys are very lean, you'd rarely see someone with a decent build except for MARCOS and NSG, those guys need upper body strength for their sort of work and MARCOS toh have the swimmer's body too

Our boys are lean, but are not devoid of upper body strength, in fact pre-Agniveer the standard chin-ups requirement was 14 to even enter PRRC Bangalore. It is just that we focus too much on cardio, then our diet doesn't support muscle building, plus the culture in the units is not inclined towards weight training.

Yeah, a thermal clip on to the nod would be awesome. Along with thermal sights on the rifle. Lets see if we can see this with any Indian SFs.

Wouldn't call it mild.
The 2016 attack in Mazar-i-Sharif was thwarted thanks to the ITBP guards stationed in the premises. That attack led to a standoff between the assailants and AFG forces outside the building.
