Indian Special Forces

Chechens are poor?? Google first battle of Grozni. Also in 2000 or something in a single ambush they killed some 200 russians .
They only managed to do that because the Russian army was a third world army at that time.
Well,in kashmir in the 90s everyone specially from the Army had much much much more respect for the Afghans and Chechens than the Pak punjabis who still choose to run away than stay and fight.

Pak punjabi muslims never ever came as close to Indian Army as much as the Afghans came before opening fire.

Even now when Indian Army and government is looking for exchanging goodies with Pak Army on LOC after getting one officer matyred the Afghans are actually fighting it out against the Pakis on the western border.

(I know i know baniyagiri zindabad and economy is always more important than soldiers lives)

Sorry,i totally respect some tribes who fight for whatever their cause is without any corruption..And Paki punjabi muslims are not those kind of tribes i respect.
So what does this say about indians who get their asses repeatedly ambushed by these very punjabi muslims?

We are definitely not good for our cause and we are corrupted at every level.

Its simple..we are no saints!

ayo what sort of a sniper competition is within a range of 300/400 meters, it's a straight up marksmanship competition no proper sniper skillset
We DO NOT have Snipers in India..

We dont practise long range sniping!

We have HAWS with no sniping course for high and lower elevation shots!

We have no ballistic computers.

Basically, its like yeh sepoyee achi goli chalata he sniper bana do 500 metre pe matke phod k!

Thats not sniping..Its a squad marksman job!

My old man was in charge in Mhow in mid 80s..you will be extremely proud to know very less has changed since then.

Magnum, free floated barrel, 5-25x25, spotter, rangefinder, holdover, DOPE, parallax, mirage, Coriolis, two stage trigger...these may be the standard terms for everyone else; but sadly these are not in our vocabulary.

Our standard doctrine of marksmanship is still based around SVDs whose maximum range with that rag tag PSO-1 is 800m; hence things are the way they're.

Semi automatic rifle at a time our enemy swears by bolt action…no wonder their snipers drop our soldiers at LOC whenever they want.

This was one of the reasons we scrambled our a**es to get 338 LM rifles as soon possible because Pakis were becoming a real pain in the a** with their Arctic Warfares.

But thanks to our perpetual "I bet you couldn't mess a defence procurement so straightforward" challange, we bought the most obnoxiously expensive rifle in the form of Scorpio MilLE from a firm no one had ever heard of; a single rifle goes as high as 6 lakhs. If we had looked up a bit we could've got a decent rifle for just 2.5 lakhs; basically doubling the number of available rifles with the same budget.
