Indian Special Forces

Casualties are acceptable in the sense if it refines your SOPs.

There is a famous saying that SOPs are written with blood not ink.

But if you dont learn anything out of the disaster then you are just wasting lives.

Life is extremely cheap in India. sadly we will rewrite SOPs with a heavier price.

Meghalaya's Umiam lake hosts IAF's combat training exercise featuring specialised ops

"The exercise aimed to enhance interoperability with the Indian Army Special Forces and the Navy.

The training exercise included Combat Rubberised Raiding Craft drops, para jumps, and helocasting (jumping from an aircraft into water) using An-32 and C-130 aircraft."

Maybe not MARCOS and just a VBSS Corpman/Medic
They are MARCOS. It's the same camo pattern as previous exercises.

On a side note MARCOS has standardized their kit to NATO standards. PARA SF except 1-2 units that look like Tier 2 Israeli SF aren't even in the same league as these guys.

For all of us who were jerking off after seeing binods in the promo released by adgpi:

This is from same ex (Khanjar).

Absolutely zero changes in kit apart from a matching camo helmet cover. (Compare pics from same ex 2 years ago and you'll know).

Vhi 1000-1200 ka vest kharidke chale gaye.

Hopeless!
Thatswhy i dont jump over such pics…a lot for show nothing for Go!

Few years ago we saw spec ops clothes in SFTS..where are the combat pics with such gear?

Just look precisely and you'll understand. VBSS guys don't have comtacs + AT SF rig

While you are most likely correct - just want to point out that anybody who leaves a naval vessel on high seas will have direct comms to the ship. Helos/VBSS/Raiding Party etc. So to expect VBSS to have comms (and now COMTACS as the force is adopting them) is not too unrealistic.

Could be, since its Navy. Other than the Sig 716s, other parts of the VBSS looked just fine previously
