Since 15 years i m hearing from jawans and officers deployed on LOC that Paki snipers are really really good and this is not even the first casualty by them this month.

After 2016 surgical strikes, I think we lost more of our boys to their snipers, until the ceasefire was signed in 2020.

Then we should have used our artillery to wipe out those snipers. IA need to increase its sniper detection technology assets to track and rain hell and fire on those snipers.

Maximum restraint and maintain peace at the cost of 3 to 5 soldiers per week. Gernals will take care the weekly cap is never breached. The cycle continues....

i mean far from loc . seems like bsf and army finally plugged that hole.

Forces learned from past months, there are progess visible like, infiltrators are being caught near loc and most are being prevented from crossing over.

It's a double edged sword. History has been witness whenever the army of believers are up against kuffar , irrespective their fights even blood feud , eliminating the kuffar is first priority before resuming their internecine never ending conflict .

Why give them that excuse ?! Previously our losses used to be in the hundreds every year courtesy bomb blasts with sickening regularity across the nation plus what we faced in Kashmir & on the LoC.

While the latter was somewhat avenged thru reciprocal action , the bomb blasts & terrorist activities in Kashmir went largely unpunished.

Today we're taking a few dozen casualties on the LoC & exclusively in Kashmir for which retaliation is low on the LoC whereas for all the "namaloom afraad" phenomena in Paxtan there's zero reciprocal action in mainland India.

Then there's the fact of their own terrorist groups taking them on within with scores of casualties practically on a daily basis.

Let's not interrupt the enemy when they're accomplishing what we want to do to them without any effort from our end.

Ok did anyone enquire what is the threshold required to break inertia? My guess is Pakistan is using deliberate strategy to keep bleeding our nation using force below the threshold.

And we keep using same tactics in reply for Pakistan. Currently last think Pakistan needs is India giving reason to them to unite and forget its own army shenanigans

No sane person in india wants pok, it's filled with pisslamist pakjabis and like a million terrorists. Our goal should be to be hold as much of unpopulated area and high points in the region.

Getting all of pok is not only impossible but also stupid. India will lose support on global stage if we go for annexation, meanwhile using terrorists activity as a excuse to launch and occupy vantage points is better.
