but its all just fantasy . govt has decided the current casualty rate as acceptable - i agree with them.

pak sends bat we fuck them up , so they are using pressure activated ieds . possible these ieds are dropped via drone . seen them been done in ukraine . beside security personnel deaths per year for our side has been going down. why take risk by doing escalation.

best option is better monitoring / surviallance

There has to be a cost imposed for each of these "stray" incidents. They should lose a few forward posts or salami slice them. If they escalate, so be it. Plus the planners in Pindi or Islamabad need to face the heat. There needs to be a few "stray" explosions or shootings to put the fear of God in them. A top 5 economy can definitely do that and sustain it, but the political will to do so with peej praaij aspirations is another matter.

TTP is a godsend for Indian Army. Keeps Pakis occupied on their Western border for the foreseeable future. We will take casualties on the LoC but honestly, this is the best scenario for us to make sure that we can end militancy in J&K once and for all. Fewer locals in Kashmir are joining militancy these days compared to the past. Pakis throwing the towel after 370 abrogation has already demotivated most separatist forces in the valley and as time goes by, the movement will lose its sheen among the youth. Goi has to target the youth. Make them woketards if required but completely strip them of their Islamic identity. That is how west targets youth in many countries like the Gulf and India too, using neoliberal ideology to impose its own agenda in the colleges and universities. We need similar strategy for Kashmir.

Since 15 years i m hearing from jawans and officers deployed on LOC that Paki snipers are really really good and this is not even the first casualty by them this month.
