It was mentioned that Pakistan has radars that can look far into Indian land in Kashmir. Excuse the naivete, wouldn't India have the same capability, or close to it?

Radars will always be there looking at you just like a goalkeeper, but you play with tactics to put a ball inside.

We have much better radars and surveillance. Also Pakistan cannot look into Kashmir due to Pir Panjar ranges which blocks radar, unless they fly an AWACS over Muzzafarabad.

my point is, they already did . civilians area or not dont matter . cross border firing retaliation is still there .

IMO China will for sure intervene to prevent PoK capture. Maybe not directly as in a fighting coalition, but a lot of indirect help. Because a part of the reason why CPEC exists is to assuage China's paranoia about the Malacca Dilemma, i.e if the US Navy closes the Straits of Malacca, they still want a way to be able to buy natural resources from the middle east.

Granted its a very circuitous route from South east China(their population centers) through Xinjiang, Tibet, PoK and then Gwadar, There are potentially better routes through Myanmar as well, but still they'll want to keep all their options open.

PoK capture will have to wait at least until China takes Taiwan.

I think they can look beyond Pir Panjal without awacs in case they have deployed radars on the ridge line north of Uri and west of Lachipora WLS. There is a long 4000m alt ridge.

That has to be continued exercise, not once in 10 yr thing. Transfer for a ips babu means nothing. No accountability ensured whatsoever. Superficial action means nothing. Digressing a bit but even the criminal incompetence of senior MCD officers goes unpunished in this country. The govt needs to lower its threshold for forced retirement if it has to meaningfully change anything. Transfer only means citizens in some other part of country have to suffer from them.
Regarding bsf ,would have considered country is changing if they handed reigns of bsf to their own cadre and not a parachuted officer
