He wants an air war, not a land war. He doesn't want body bags but if he could find a way to fight a land war with drones and no soldiers, he would be the first to initiate a land conflict anywhere.

They are not going to achieve anything coz Iran has prepared itself with massive rocket force. American airstrikes in Yemen failed to do any meaningful damage to Houthi military capabilities, Houthi missiles are still raining down on Israel penetrating their air defence. Iran is much bigger in size with more military capabilities , large number of underground missile cities. Without Boots on ground it will be a show off exercise only. I don't think Americans have the capability/appetite to commit a million ground troops to invade a mountainous country like Iran or Yemen and suffer thousands of casualties.

They have been deploying bombers and aircraft carriers even during peace time regardless of who is in the White House. What is your point by the way? Trump is transactional president. He sees everything in terms of Business. I don't think going to war will yield him the profits he is looking for.

He will wave the big stick and leverage the fear to get the best possible deal. Whether that will work out is anyone's guess at this point.

A slippery slope which can quickly end up in triple-digit casaulties and high-value targets getting taken out on both sides.

Artillery is a much better option, which comes with the benefit of being used before in these sporadic ceasefire violations. involving drones as a whole lot of uncertainty to the issue . See we should avoid giving any chance of plausible deniability to Pak army , if we use artillery then will have to use them too, but if we use drones dropped bombs and stuff, pak army can just train some terrorists to carry drones with them near loc and attack our side, then deny involvement.

it was from a press conference DG-ISPR gave to their senior journos during that period, in his presentation he had a table with dates and mortars they counted. he said something along the lines of "eendians are bombarding us daily at a level we didn't face even in 71 war".

that video has either been erased, or the name of the video is so obscure that i am unable to find it since. i don't think even our journos reported on that press conference.

it's not a simple extrapolation of 10 million, it was heavy mortar bombardment for weeks during the peak. joke at DFI was modi must have asked IA to dump all stock nearing expiry date onto the pakis, to get new stock.

Just a question from my side.

Do we always to react to Porki filth ceasefire violations where in they give cover for their haramis to infiltrate? Or are our military is proactive as in every now and then we decide some of their scum should die?

There is something not adding up. During Parrikar time as Defense minister we had Swati Radar installed which made firing artillery rounds difficult for Porkis as they would be detected and their location destroyed. Now in 2025, can we not locate all their positions by Aerostat radar and through satellite imagery destroy their positions and kill their scum? Shouldn't we be the party to decide when peace prevails and when it doesn't? In my opinion we should have a target of killing 1,000 Porki scum in uniform who are on LoC every year. They should fear to even be a guard at LoC.
