Indo US Relations

The reason the govt is willing to accept 18k people back is because Trump is threatening with tariffs, assuming the news is accurate, I'd prefer some bargaining like you've suggested instead of being the current rollover that this "we take back 18k peepul saar" is.

Bangladesh will reject any official deportations.

Ofcourse, the right way to do this is "incentivize" the Kanglus to pole vault over back to where they came from and never return, but i'll leave it to your imagination what these "incentives" might be :troll:
Kanglus are not going back neither we can make all of them pole vault back into swampdesh. The only thing to do is sterlize all the kanglu women, men and children so they don't breed. These pigs are eating our thin resources which we ourselves are running low. Imagine giving free ration to kanglus food, clothes, medicine, schooling for their little Mujahideens. Huge amount of monetary and resource loss. Our children can't have nutritious food when we have feed all these illegal. Seriously, When I think about these things it pisses me off that general public doesn't give a fuck about these things how actually harmful these kanglus are.

Seems to have toned down considerably (compared to what he was promising throughout his campaign). What prompted this u-turn tho? What's the deal?
You're going to see a battle royale between China baiters like Rubio , Waltz etc & China supporters like Elonwa. Eventually something has to give.

It's not as if the latter doesn't see thru the Chinese game or the fact that the single biggest threat to Tesla comes from China or the fact that Twitter is banned there & Starlink will never be permitted there. I'm sure that's true of his other businesses too.

However he's trying to make the best of a bad bargain in the form of the crumbs CCP is throwing at Tesla for their mfg in China.

At some point in time very soon he'd face headwinds in the administration & out there in the market place . It's for him to prioritise what he wants else he'd be outnumbered in the administration & outgunned in the market.

We can.
The State however has to be willing to tank any sanctions or human rights dramas that may ensue and may have to engage in diplomatic concessions to certain powers who may wish to intervene...

I am not going to specify any further, you can look to the subcontinent and India's post and a little just before independence history to get an idea

It would be great if we can even kick out 40 to 50 lakh kanglus from our country that would free up a lot of resources and can be used for our needy Hindu brothers.

This will be struck down by the courts. Already influential liberal groups like ACLU challenged this.

The 14th Amendment very clearly says that anyone born in the US is a citizen.

The conservative SC may interpret this in a certain way, but that would only impact the illegals. The ‘jurisdiction’ clause means that you cannot target anyone staying legally.

Also H1B is a dual intent visa and it will be hard to target (especially if you already have I-140)

The best case outcome for Trump is that it will target only the illegals. Not even the B1/B2 tourists.

The whole thing is basically the same game plan as our political parties who promise unrealistic things in State Elections that require constitutional amendments (like raising reservations over 50%) to appease their base and then ‘cry foul’ that SC played spoilsport after it is struck down.

We are a mid tier power.
While we all wish for what you are stating, our power projection is no where near to achieve that in a country like US.
We can pull it off in other countries with difficulty but never in US. They will never allow us to get away with it for obvious reasons.
for a country the size of India having little power projection is a tragedy

Other than USA no other country has power projection in true sense. Russian have some capabilities thanks to their massive defence industry yet they have failed in Syria and struggling in neighbouring Ukraine.

France does some in Africa but we could do similar small scale missions any day and probably better.

Uk power projection is a joke .

We are doing fine.

Wonderful this will force elite Indians to remain firmly rooted in India and invest / innovate/ incorporate here only .

But It won't last. Their target is to get rid of low skilled / unwashed migration hoardes first. Ones that reduces they will issue new actual merit based visas and Indians will again be at forefront.

Not happening, if not America those who are Elite in terms of their or their daddies' bank balance will go somewhere else.
Those who are Elite in terms of skills and knowledge will also leave and go somewhere else

The PRChinese who were in America and Western nations only returned en masse because of CCP programs to attract them back to the country, promising sem2sem or better pay + the reality of China's biggest cities offering an equal-equal lifestyle and amenities as Western ones.

Our Govt is chindi, and equal-equal lifestyle can only be found in rich people areas of the major cities

Our Govt could totally do something similar to the Chings though, purely for Defense-Industrial purposes however.

Don't feel too much sympathy for Indian illegals in the US

( it is kind of perplexing that these people are obsessed with going to the US, in years when India has been booming!)

These are also dehatis, no skills or usefulness to either country but they will sell their father's land and property to get enough $$$ to pay various agents and touts, only for the luxury of trekking through Central American Rain-Forests and Mexican desert, only to fall while scaling THE WALL or get arrested by those ICE cops and put in a cage.

Even in terms of remittances, this lot is far more expensive to the GoI than the couple million of Indian immigrants working and sending back money from Gulf countries.

Legal Immigrants to US are more useful, Since they are more likely to have skills/experience to stick there and keep sending money home aside from other benefits

There can be a million excuses but securing the lives of 1.5 billion people should be a priority?

Illegal migrants do not pay any taxes so why would government care in any way?? They are
invisible almost non existent . It not matter the national origin of the illegal? Some illegals
will have it slightly easier like hispanics who have a vast community across USA. As far as
Indians go they are only here to be exploited by other indians as cheap labor whether they
are illegal or even H1B's.

For the Elected *usually* winning elections every 5 years is a priority.
For the Un-Elected( Babooze, Milaards, Users ) getting promotions, then getting bribes and ((( favors ))) is a priority.

To become a world power there needs to be a consistent, whole of govt approach, It won't just fall into our lap one day, China has been doing this since 40 years now, the Russians when they were Soviet did this and reaped the results in the post-WW2 era, so did the British in the past.

It is part of my point, they barely give remittances while the Legal one is much more useful, more remittances, useful skills, may return to India and be useful, or if cultivated well can be lobbyist for GoI in America.

we need to stop comparing ourselves with China. Indian government does not have the comittment or strategic vision and culturally people do not have the mindset ; everything should be quick and easy
or Indians don't want it. I have yet to see any long term Military project (indigenous) come to fruition
and get inducted in a significant way. (except some missiles?)

True. But govt can only spend on defence/ power projection what it's revenue collection allows. And India still remains among the poorest nations per capita. Long way to go.
