I hope people pause to think of the enormous planning that went into this. Since all these equipment are imported presumably from intermediaries based in China , either the Israelis switched the shipments which means they would've had precise information of the specifications of the equipment down to the appearance weight screw fittings etc .
Then they'd have to replicate it ASAP & effect the switch at some point. It's either that or they set up a dummy factory somewhere full with people to front it & conclude the deal in toto with Iran & their proxies without them being any wiser.
The third more plausible explanation which I subscribe to is they engineered some vital components common to each of these items & shipped them to the system integrator wherever that system integrator was located who then assembled the equipment & shipped it to Iran or Hezbollah WITHOUT being party to this.
For all this to happen it requires excellent HUMINT so that you're present at the right time & place - neither before time nor after , have not only an excellent technical team to do the requisite engineering but also an expert team to take care of the logistics.
This may have had roots nearly 3-4 years ago it not more. The Israelis were saving this Brahmastra for a bigger emergency like a 2 front war or something more disastrous . Wonder why did they show their cards right now unless it's a warning to Iran & Hezbollah not to escalate.
As far as Iran & its proxies go there can't be anything more humiliating beginning with Haniyeh's assassination right under Iran's nose & now this. They'd be scared of their own shadows now & seething.
Finally this operation couldn't be conducted by the Israelis all on their own. I see the US hand all over it camouflaged by Israel's presence. There could be other actors too like UK & other European countries.
Neither this network nor the technical capacities nor were these capabilities developed in a day or a year or a few years. Hopefully Mossad & the other intelligence agencies in Israel have redeemed their reputation for their failure in anticipating 7/10.
