yeah this isn't something new, it has funnily enough happened alot with Russian AD systems, interceptor missile making a 180 turn is like a semi common thing with many AD systems.
 
Ruskies faced a much more sizeable AD but the again their airforce is supposed to be much bigger at-least on paper.

Solid demonstration of SEAD/ DEAD capabilities. We are witnessing Israel carry air operations within countries way beyond their reach and that too in parallel both across yemen and Iran.

There is a lot of confusion among defence enthusiasts regarding deterrence.

The launch of a ballistic missile is not a breach of deterrence. The confirmation of a nuclear strike by nuclear forensics is. Call it a catch, fix, hindrance or a procedure but this how it works.
 
Is Iran unable to sustain frequent missile barrages on Israel or are they taking it slow by mapping out Israel`s AD and disabling them as they continuously figure out AD launcher locations?

Asking this as many of the barrages seem to be older BMs saturating launcher capacity usually followed by more sophisticated BM or hyper sonic hitting the launcher itself

Israeli AD appeared to be dead in at-least couple of locations and arrivals hit unchallenged. One launcher site atop a high-rise was accurately hit collapsing most of he building

Israel better have a well though out endgame, else they risk this turning out into US vs Taliban / Houthis kind of match. Lots of high precision and decapaciating hits but immaterial in the long run

Israel will lose the war of attrition. All quality, no quantity.
On the other hand, Iran is mostly quantity, almost no quality, atleast from what we have seen.

They might have limited 2000 +km missiles so they are mixing it up with 1000-1500 missiles without warheads as decoys.
