Advanced enough to have an SVAB and that's how India's yearly launch frequency capability improved from 4-5 to 8-10. We are not doing 10 launches/year for other reasons is a different case. While the 3rd launch pad is being built, the second spaceport in Kulasekharapattinam should be in a fairly advanced state(?)
What's the use of it??
I think Vikas mostly used up in earth environment not space. You need to be able to restart in space in order for rockets to be reusable and to do multiple injection points along your orbit.
The vertical landing experiment will also use the vikas (ADMIRE project). You need to be able to restart in space in order for rockets to be reusable and to do multiple injection points along your orbit.
May be for NGLV reuse rocketThe vertical landing experiment will also use the vikas (ADMIRE project).
No . It seems more like a proof of concept using an engine that they are familiar with . I would haver been a lot happier if they were using the CE 20 cause that engine is closer to the proposed methalox engine and is safer .May be for NGLV reuse rocket
This engine will be used in Admire test vehicle for VTVL tests,No . It seems more like a proof of concept using an engine that they are familiar with . I would haver been a lot happier if they were using the CE 20 cause that engine is closer to the proposed methalox engine and is safer .
Skyroot and Agnikul must get their acts going this yearApart from PSLV do we have plan for private manufacturing for SSLV and LVM-3. Because we are launching very few per year compared to others. Even 1 per month looks an long shot. Will be happy to see an multiple private sectors manufacturing rockets in large scale so we can push dozens of launches per year.
