I'd wager on 24-48hrs delay.Could the arrest of the drift happen quickly, and a docking attempt made within a few hours? Or would it more likely be a few days delay.

A rare blemish on our otherwise nearly impeccable record of putting satellites in near perfect orbit.Dock first, then inform
SpaDeX Mission: Spacecraft 1.5 km apart, to come closer today, says ISRO
An ISRO official said, “After the last manoeuvre, the satellites drifted away, but they were safe. Now, we are re-attempting the entire process. There are certain fixed hold points, the satellites would be brought to these hold points again, before we attempt docking again.”indianexpress.com
" With the docking experiment now having missed two publicly announced schedules- Jan 7th and Jan 9th,- the space agency has now decided to dock and inform the people"

Seems ISRO not in hurry, ISRO leveraging this experiment to collect all data under different scenarios. If docking is not done in the next few days, the next available slot could be in March.
ISRO's SpaDeX Satellites Docking Experiment May Get Delayed Till March, Here's Why
The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is waiting for the right time for its SpaDeX -- Space Docking Experiment of two satellites as both the aircrafts are at a distance of just 3 meters.www.republicworld.com

yeah thats the experience we gaining. Experience means data..which will help ISRO for future docking techniques. It is not case of data.
We are finding docking more difficult than we thought.
