so that mk1b can be station at eastern air command, thus increased cost for new infra at airbases on that side. but seriously does it have enough space for any more upgrade and can f404 produce enough electricity?? it would be much better to bring in kaveri in these 97 units. radar can be GaN, maws should be added. anything more on this would attract delays again

Imagine putting KDE into one of these drones. Like a CATs Omega something like that. Which will be able to either function as a jamming platform or maybe a dedicated BVRAAM launcher...

Or a Jamming platform based on Ghatak UCAV.

Problem in recruitment due to low merit caste quotas in drdo,hal,isro .We have a tribal woman as president so as per ambedkar we must stop giving low merit quota in science and tech from now on atleast.
Currently low merit quota is around 65 percent hence many iits have started giving seats to science olympiad medallist but many medallist are going foreign universities after studying 1 or 2 year in iits.

Does Ambedkar told that Reservation for SC/ST should only applicable for 10 years. Post independence, then our Politicians decided to play the Votebank politics and decided to screw them up.

A good solution should be introducing SC/ST creamy layer and proper identification of People who were genuinely needed reservation, the current system is being gamed by everyone. We say IAS officers claiming to be poor SC when spends holidays in Europe.

Also ISRO, HAL, DRDO should increase the pay grade lol. IT companies were giving much better package than them.

childish take, mk2 would come by 2030-31. till that time squadron strength will tank below 25, its mk1a which is available, this can easily make up for the squadron strength
i will say order 97 more now and give the extra engine order to ge asap so they wouldnt be able to give reasons for delay.

That's suicidal because Tejas Mk2 will require 3 years for testing & certification before mass production can begin.
It makes more sense to order 97 additional Tejas Mk1A right-away

If we are not getting f404 engines even after making payment, how in the world are we going to get f414 without any deal signed
