On paper DFRL, DRDO has one

but you'd rarely find it in the fields. Also it's nowhere comparable to the quality or variety of what you'd get in USA, France or Russia.

They lack fibre and cause stomach issues hence no one likes them.

Thats the point, I have never heard of our Jawans carrying these MREs rather 99% of them have to bring their own lunch boxes ore rely on Army canteens where again there are stories of how food ration is handled.​

We're discussing MREs and here I found an undated pic of a MARCOS with Garmin Instinct. Compass, heart rate, GPS, altimeter, barometer, waypoint navigation...atleast 20k a piece.

Truly shows what you can achieve even in a limited budget if your dill, dimaag aur ghutna are in line.
