Modernisation of Indian Army Infantry (14 Viewers)

Well the fab kit is different and has pdc rail, it also has fab defence etched in big ass letters

of course, i took FAB name as example because some desi guys are already importing their maal and sticking their names to it and selling it all as IDDM

this one in photo looks so similar to certain "Texas Weapons Systems" dog leg railed top cover for AK thing, years ago when muh SSSD tried to project some AK with upgraded and kits as their own maal i questioned and criticised them for this kind of aftermarket reselling thing on DFI, forum is dead but i still have those pages saved as PDF somewhere in my computer - and they too projected same Dog Leg maal of TWS as their own

just look at photos of this TWS dog leg and compare with this one here...

looks so eerily similar to imported top rails kit we get in name of IDDM,
is it truly their in house made maal or another FAB importer that just printed its name on it...aisa case hai toh durga maa ke naam par schemes kar rhe, paap lagega
Tey important maal from China

Why is sig716 favoured so much? I genuinely wanted to know because an army should favour a rifle which offers less recoil and more stability while handling. So why does army favour it with 1.5 lakh unit orders?

Great move…

Every infantry battalion gonna have a drone squad.

Indian Infantry looks to be among the best in south Asia for a long time to come.

And given its size might as well be one of the hardest to beat in Asia.

Remember,10 multiplied by 200 is less than 7 multiplied by 2000…so we are 7 in equipment but 2000 in size.

We just need to do something about the calibre we use and standardise the procurement.

Infantry training is getting closer to elite Para SF every year.

Also need deep strike UAV system companies (as part of IA Artillery) or a separate battalion like Ukrainians, to manage IBG/Division level deep strikes, equipped with Fiber optic FPVs (>20km range), Spike NLOS (>30km) and other longer range & bigger loitering munitions (which are not suitable for infantry).
