Many a time you will see even the jawans (JCOs/Senior NCOs) not ready for small-arms/soldier-level modernization.

Then they'll have to train with the issued equipment, learn to use them properly and get accustomed to continue using them. Force modernization can't be held back for stupid reasons like this.

Oh definitely, that's the sop of our higher ups in this country. Better to silence the dissent rather than hearing them and improving the situation. And I have been seeing the same with this government as well. To me, nothing of basic structure of this so called system here has changed during this govt as well, it's all the same sh*tshow running in this country.
