Is there a picture of a IAF Rafale carrying a Meteor in the 5 years we have had the jets . I am curious .

I haven't seen any. There are some pics floating around but they are presumably from France.

I don't believe any of our Rafales were carrying any Meteors.

Why are you so hung up about the fact a Rafale was lost? It's no big deal, losses happen in combat.

We achieved our objectives, showed Pakis that we can hit them wherever and whenever we want. Mission accomplished.

And the Meteor missile is not integrated with IAF Rafale right now . We have never seen a meteor missile on a IAF Rafale in the last 5 years . Not even it parked . We have seen Rafale with MICA,

No IAF Rafale has ever carried a Meteor in India . Not for training and not in OP Sindhoor because the missile has not been integrated . It will happen eventually but it hasn't yet .

I would be happy to be proved wrong if there is ANY credible evidence of meteors being integrated into our Rafales. Rando youtubers or tweets doesn't count as credible, just FYI.

There have been long discussions on this topic. The consensus clearly is thst Meteors are yet to be integrated, which is why we were at a BVR disadvantage against the Jihadi c*nts.

No, IAF needs to train hard for a decisive and unquestionable victory over PAF during next clash.

Crashes are part and parcel of the the game. Small cost to pay. You are also extracting a severe cost from PAF too, forcing them to put more flight hours in and do training.

- JF-17 block 1 and 2 fleet rely on RD-33, they need quite a bit of maintenance and spares. Russian spare support is a problem due to Ukraine war.

The CNN report has nothing about the Meteor missile being used to take down any Pakistani jets .

And no one has been able to show a single photo of a IAF Rafale carrying a Meteor missile in India . The jets have been in India for 5 years and not a single photo when there are photos with all kinds of A2A missiles on all type of jets in air shows , Exercises etc. The simple conclusion is that the missile has not been integrated yet for some reason .

That photo is from France when the plane was being tested before delivery to the IAF.

There is no photo of an Indian Rafale carrying a meteor in India and there is no evidence that France has even sent a single Meteor to India so far.

IAF is fool enough to buy 8B$ white elephants that probably don't have meteor intigrated, and certainly ZERO SEAD/DEAD capability, in the absense of any ARM and Towed decoy.

how do we know this, nobody predicted what exactly is going to happen in op sindoor, yet the complaints are post facto. picked a few points that are supposedly not up to satisfaction, and ranting on and on and on about it.

ideally the learning should be, things are getting complicated in the sub-continent and around the world, have to learn to grow a thick skin. but nope, apparently that's not the instinct that kicks in for all.

I have grown thick skin after being around on this forum/DFI for a long time. I think I was more of bean picker back then. I am a spectator now a days, rather than being a participant. But yeah, sometimes I am free enough to let these affect me which might make me sound like a 10 year old child crying for candies in other kids hand instead of counting mine. I don't regret it TBH. why ? Perfect mission execution do exist in modern military history. If me crying over few things attract attention and cause people to question certain decisions and break their stupor of perfect Op Sindoor then I am more than happy to play my part.

They are giving out free food because there is massive inventory (way above the required buffer stock) - stuff that would otherwise rot in warehouses. Now, if you want to talk about the supply-demand mismatch or the MSP etc that is an entirely different topic and even there the incumbent is gradually phasing out the old MSP dependent procurement system (which is why the <<<farmers>>> from a specific region is up in arms).

This thing has no bearing on our defense spending. We have had this exact discussion before on this forum.
