So Dassault will start producing fuselages for Rafale fighters starting in 2028 with Tata advanced systems. Then you have S-57. I have written enough about it before why we won't go for another Russian fighter. If you have iota of knowledge about 5th generation fighters you would not recommend Su-57 for IAF. We need to counter stealth fighters of China and Porkistan(if they get one at all). One way is to counter them is through inducting a stealth fighter. I am of the opinion we should build advanced radars which can detect stealth aircrafts and be able to lock on to them to engage them first. Our stealth fighter is some years away, so why not focus on countering through radars and missiles first where we have some experience?
