We need cheaper subsonic missiles like Nirbhay which costs 75% less than . Relying too much on is a bad idea. We need to do saturation attacks next time first before our fighters go in for SEAD/DEAD. I hope we have 100 missiles for every one of their air base. Once their air power is destroyed, they wouldn't think of anything else other than cease fire. Our Navy should finish the job by bombing their ports and taking out what remains of their Navy. I don't see a ground invasion happening from our side at least not in a scenario where other countries like US and China themselves are not engaged in a war.

We could've easily gone in for Russian STFEs post Galwan & inducted ~ 2 - 300 Nirbhay CMs pending development of Manik STFE post which we could've gone on for certification trials of Nirbhay with Manik STFE before mass production. But we didn't.

The armed forces who ought to project the need , MEA for not forecasting the threat , MoF who's perennially hard up for cash , ADE for screwing up the Nirbhay repeatedly , MoD for not anticipating the situation or the PMO whose idea of strengthening defence is more road work & spending Diwalis with the troops at remote locations for photo ops.

No it just means that Pakistan is their pet dog, they only give the nuclear bite when they are allowed to by their masters.

I’m not sure if a BrahMos can penetrate a bunker, but it might be possible given its immense kinetic energy due to its high speed. a bunker-buster version of the Agni-5 missile with a 7.5-tonne warhead is also under development.

As such, intent is to continue with 'probes' using small teams to keep the proverbial 'pot boiling' in J&K, and at an opportune moment, allow a visible strike on Indian forces followed by pre-emptive strikes on Indian Airbases & Air Defence installations with an intent to get US to intervene quickly.Aim: To project the strike as an 'internal Indian problem' with Pakistan 'proactively striking dissuasively to ensure peace, leaving the onus of maintenance of peace on Indian actions thereafter'.
