Who cares what Paxtan thinks or feels ? People in places of influence know exactly what the situation is . As far as international lay man's opinion goes that's ALREADY in favour of Paxtan coz that's how the narrative is constructed in the western media.

As far as the ordinary Indian is concerned he's completely aware that we've had Paxtan by the scruff of their neck . What he'd be angry about is Leaderji letting them off when we could've probably finished them or maximised the damages !

Coming to the Rafale if it was truly brought down , it's important to know the circumstances in which it occurred.

To repeat myself if it has indeed been brought down by the HQ IADS system or the J-10CE + PL-15 combination then it's not good going for these aren't front line systems as far as the Chinese go whereas the Rafale is our tip of the spear when facing up to the PAF or PLAAF .

It brings into question their semi stealth characteristics especially SPECTRA which is touted to be the best EW suite available outside of the US perhaps next to the EW suite of the F-35.

This also happens to be one of the principal selling points of the Rafale & one of the main reasons the IAF preferred it over the Eurofighter for PURELY in terms of aerodynamics the Eurofighter is a better FA than the Rafale .

Their mirage 5 loss is already in public domain. Atleast release details of that. Where the fukc is that pilot. Dead , alive or escaped / sheltered 30-40km inside Indian border.

This time atleast they let us bang the porkies left and right before stepping in to stop the war.

Also, Why would their infospace let indian perspective gain more space. Remember we are fighting a nexus between ex colonizers, Hans, and Islamists. So, yes, It is not surprising if they favor their favorite and neutral parties farm some engagement.

It is only after our proofs and decisive unambiguous banging of the pigs, they have toned down and coming to grip with realities. Atleast they are accepting the reality and are neutral. Pakistan's didn't get to play gaza card. That is a win for us.
 
Someone who wrote that we shouldn't seek Western validation, is spot on. At the same time, Indians should respectively appreciate when there is genuine acknowledgement of, and support for, India's policies and positions. There are respectful and sincere individuals in the West( and in the East) who are friendly to India. Let's not alienate them in any way. Or dismiss their support.

I have a distant relative who was ultra sceptical of a particular scientific achievement in India. His view was that unless the NY Times reports on it, the discovery is likely false. Now, this is the sort of validation Indians should avoid!

If I didn't know better I'd say the GoI is behind this for if a Rafale is actually down or more than one is , GoI probably fears the opposition going on the offensive with the same old trope on Rafale a few years back about there being underhanded dealings rather than selecting the MRFA / MMRCA on merits.

Alternatively this GoI doesn't want to loosen its purse strings to make up for the attrited planes.

While both these lines of argument seem implausible IMO , what's even more implausible is the GoI's silence in this matter.

Although this particular media campaign was well handled as compared to the one in 2019 , that's such a low bar to begin with. We've still got a long way to go in the IW business.

PTI and PTM will be make headlines soon. Munir and the army must be kept busy in the internal fronts.

My guess, PAF will add offensive capabilities silently (offensive because they have to show their awaam they they can do sem2sem) and ISI will target our dams.

there's one critical need to counter the disinformation warfare perpetrated by Pak.

most western folks receiving NYT/WAPO/western articles would not be reading beyond the headlines, and hence would form perceptions basis the flashy headings, despite what's actually in the article

at the start of the skirmish, most of these articles were praising pak and critical of india. even when the truth started coming out, their headlines were modified to suggest that india did not do much damage and pak still had the upper hand. assuming more articles come out in the future that carry the real facts, their headings will likely be watered down, and those articles themselves might be suppressed in circulation

all this leads the avg western citizen to believe pak is a david who has been fighting the indian goliath and has been winning, and they love to romanticize such stories

the problem starts when those western citizens either vote on govt policies, or enter government service themselves. they carry their own perceptions & biases, and no amount of fact flinging can convince them otherwise. that can lead to diminished support in the future for india, and a surreptitious rewriting of history by pak (goatfuckers already started modifying wikipedia pages to flip all hindu-victim massacres into muslim ones)

my only concern is, by the time the truth is realized by all parties, it's going to be too late

We can only counter disinformation campaign with incontrovertible proof. They will still ask for other sundry things. Don't forget sometimes opereational parameters may require us to withhold information.

So, The decks are very heavily against us. The good thing we can do is not seek their validation and do our own thing.

As for IW, use our critical mass to drown out their noise. Just like we did on that epic night. We owned them even in IW.

can't drown them out on international media if the publishers are biased. they will ensure only a biased narrative propagates, despite the overwhelming evidence against it

thanks to commie brainwashing in their colleges and intellectual groups, most of the mediums responsible for disseminating information to the masses are already occupied by these woke morons
