Try googling defence budget post 2021. It is not even near peak covid years

Based on what % of GDP 🤣

Its not this simple, GDP is not real money real money is the tax collections GOI gets and GOI takes debt on top of same to release budget …

So always see how much percentage of central budget goes to Defence…

4 Trillion GDP means nothing is when Indian Govt revenue is barely 370 Billion USD and spending almost 80 Billion from that is all India can do for now

Even if we use current exchange rate of rupees to dollars, even then gov. Budget exceed 550 billion in dollars terms.

Where did you get the 370billion no.?

Gdp is seen as a measure for capacity to take on debt at least in the g7 countries.

All of these countries vastly outstanding their actual take from tax revenues

Apple is going to make money in India , it is not a victory for India to be able to buy their hyped product. (written from an Apple phone) Apple is designed to everyone stuck in their ecosystem only.

>Bulk of Indian iPhone production is meant for export
>Apple sees India as a long term growth market for iPhone, US & EU is saturated, China sales are declining because of nationalism, India is the only large market remaining
>Tim Apple has provided the Orange Ape with enough bananas to prevent him chimping out at them except the usual verbal farting

Usually presidents do not challenge.CEO’s when they are expanding into a lucrative market . I really don’t know what Trump was trying to gain from this?? he is partners with Pakistan in his coin venture maybe something related to that??

Political mileage

"Look folks I got Apple to manufacture in America"
They can manufacture in USA anytime it would only make the phone much more costly and lose market share around the world. This push to make everything in America will shut down many industries where prices will definetly increase. Already started in the auto indiustry

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on Friday approved a whopping dividend of Rs 2.68 lakh crore for FY25 to the Centre as against Rs 2.1 lakh crore in FY24, which will help New Delhi in its push to narrow fiscal deficit to 4.4 per cent for this fiscal year.

Not sure how much will go to defence! But be assured, most of it will go to the accounts of freeloaders/nithalas for the vote and spent on lavishness of Babudome.

He's just a petty, greedy idiot.
He wants to have his cake and eat it too.
Trump wanted Apple to invest in the US and also not diversify for its own sake and not invest in a nation that just humiliated his foreign policy positioning.

Too bad that's not how it works.
US has a lot of factions and if we thought our dhandos are powerful; US dhandos are next fking level.

US labor costs are 10-20 or times or more the cost in Asia. US manufacturing can never come back and maintain the current cost strtucture.

Should Trump Be Concerned About Pakistan’s Nuclear Weapons?

Pakistan has repeatedly used the nuclear threat as a geopolitical tool. During the 1999 Kargil conflict, Pakistan reportedly attempted to pressure India through U.S. President Bill Clinton by raising the Spectre of nuclear escalation. India’s Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee responded firmly, warning that such a move would ensure Pakistanis would not see the next day’s sunrise. This blunt counter-threat cooled Pakistani aggression and made it clear to Clinton that playing the role of a nuclear mediator was both dangerous and unwise.

Fast forward 25 years, and Pakistan once again invoked a nuclear pretext—this time during the new Trump administration. Claiming a radiation leak, despite extensive American surveillance suggesting otherwise, Pakistan was able to trigger international concern. The U.S., under pressure, dispatched a boron-laden aircraft—typically used in nuclear emergencies—to Pakistan, and began pushing India for a ceasefire. Again, no actual radiation leak was ever confirmed. It was another calculated move to manipulate geopolitical outcomes through nuclear fear mongering.

Twice now, Pakistan has successfully used the threat of nuclear catastrophe to influence global reactions. This tactic sets a dangerous precedent. Even at the height of the Cold War, such overt nuclear blackmail was off the table. Pakistan has discovered a formula: initiate military mischief, then invoke nuclear danger to deter retaliation. Having succeeded twice, there is little doubt that future Pakistani governments—or their military—will continue this strategy for generations to come.
This behaviour cannot be allowed to persist. The international community must consider two viable alternatives:

1. Place Pakistan’s nuclear arsenal under strict International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) or a similar independent body.
2. Physically remove operational control of nuclear weapons from the Pakistani military, ensuring they cannot be used—or threatened—during times of conflict.

Previous attempts to implement similar to U.S. Permissive Action Links (PALs) on Pakistan’s nuclear weapons have failed. Therefore, only external oversight or removal of nuclear weapons from Pakistani soil can ensure that these are not used as diplomatic blackmail.

The world cannot afford to normalize nuclear brinkmanship as a negotiating tactic. It has to be eliminated.

Trump has transitioned into a full grifter with his crypto tokens. Guy was pumping and dumping tokens and fleeced millions.

He's doing a shakedown of CEOs for some money.

Yes Trump's 40% current net worth is made from dubious crypto. He is using the US economy and foreign policy as a cash cow.
