Some of the claims are questionable but what Indian news channels and defense affairs need to understand here is how the information is compiled and presented. It flows like a comprehensive story with main points emphasized repeatedly. The “why something happened “ is anticipated and succinctly explained. This is why western communications are powerful - they can convince people that alien UFO were flying when the reality was Pentagon was just doing advanced weapons testing. This is the most comprehensive summary of Operation Sindhoor. It is sad that, it came from Taiwan instead of India. Therein lies the problem -- why any of the Indian news channels could not come up with a similar report?
One of the issues we have is in schools we are not taught how to say things clearly, powerfully and to the point. We tend to ramble on and bring unnecessary details without thinking about whether it is suitable for the audience. We forget that people have a maximum 10 minute attention span and you’d have to capture their imagination within that time. Our podcasts are way too long and full of useless content.
We really need to teach our people at all levels of society how to communicate powerfully with confidence and clarity. We need to start with the IFS, Military genrols, and key government babus. Never mumble in interviews. It is taken as hiding something.
